About Us

Anja Kapelski, the founder of Au Pair Assist, is a German born host mum who knows about the challenges when settling into another country without speaking the language fluently.

Anja helps both families and Au Pairs with her insight as an experienced host mum for Au Pairs, Demi-Pairs and Granny-Au Pairs. Anja provides facts to spark good communication from the very beginning to develop a deep understanding of the different cultural backgrounds.

Mutual expectations can be discussed and adjusted where necessary to the benefit of all but foremost the children.

Au Pair Assist has carefully selected cooperation partners with the aim to promote the Au Pair idea further in Australia. Cooperations have been established with agencies, Au Pair internet portals, providers of English and Au Pair online courses for Au Pairs, travel agencies, insurance providers etc. 

Au Pair Assist is a member of an Australia wide network of host families to ensure the safety of Au Pairs.

The founder, Anja Kapelski, is both member and admin of several Au Pair related networks and Facebook groups.
